Elements of Art

We have been learning about the elements of art:
COLOR: Hue is another word for color. The common name of a color related to the spectrum.
LINE: A continuous mark with length and direction. a line can vary in length, width, direction, curveture and color.
SHAPE: A flat figure created when lines meet to enclose a space. Shapes can be divided into several types: geometric (square, triangle, circdle) and organic (irregular in outline.)
TEXTURE: Refers to the surface feel and appearance such as rough, smooth, wavy.
SPACE: Refers to the empty or open area between, around, above, below or within objects.
